Lewis Hamilton To Ferrari for 2025!

Sir Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, is set to be on his way to the Ferrari team for the 2025 season!

This bombshell of a story has sent shockwaves in the F1 community as Hamilton has been loyal to Mercedes for over ten years now, with fans thinking that he would retire with the Brackley-based team. However, Sky Sports announced at 11:20 am that the British driver would be dressed in red for the 2025 season. Reports from reliable F1 Journalist, Chris Medland, said “No official confirmation yet from either side, but I’m told Hamilton to Ferrari is accurate”.

Ferrari hasn’t said anything yet on their social media accounts about the Hamilton situation, but they have recently released a new post showing that Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% will partner with them as a sponsor for the 2025 season. In this promotional post, however, fans spotted an easter egg as there was a Ferrari F1 car hidden in the bottom of the photo with the number 44 on it, Hamilton’s number. There was also a VIP badge which had the number 2024 on it which has led fans to believe that Lewis Hamilton could be moving to Ferrari this season!

This rumour also seems more likely as reports from Italian magazine, Gazetta said “The 2025 contract is sealed, but talks persist for him (Hamilton) to join in 2024”.

To get an understanding of just how big this transfer could be for the sport, the last massive “shock” transfer was when Hamilton moved from McLaren to Mercedes back in 2013. Former F1 driver, Karun Chandhok said “Ferrari’s share price has jumped 6% today - on a market cap of 66 billion, his (Hamilton) news is worth $4 billion!”

The Mercedes staff were spotted earlier today arriving at the factory as they were being told about the departure of Hamilton. The staff were spotted by Sky Sports Journalists leaving the factory 10-15 minutes after they had arrived.
